AI, without the jargon — Perth workshop

A practical, in-person AI workshop for business owners who are not technical.

This three-hour session gives you a clear framework to build from. Bring a notepad and your questions; you do not need a computer or prior technical experience.

How you think about the problem matters more than which tools you choose. Start with your business, the work you want to improve and the knowledge you need to protect. We will use a simple map to make sense of the moving parts of an AI system in plain language: interfaces; large language models (LLMs) and smaller models (SLMs) as the engine; connections such as APIs and MCP; and tools such as browsers.

We will also look at keeping your options open across providers, protecting your files, folders and intellectual property, and thinking carefully about useful applications, personal risks and the wider AI landscape. The aim is to help you understand the choices, guide your team and decide where to explore next. This is a foundation and framework, not a technical build session.

Led in person by Neil Price, who runs Trials and Enduro Skills and Moto Dynamics and will share how he approaches AI in his own businesses.
